The Southeast Childhood Collective hosts an annual conference for early educators to come together for learning, networking, and enjoyment. This event takes place in Juneau every March and features engaging workshops, informative speakers, and advocacy opportunities to enhance the professional development of early educators from across the region. The conference offers essential training to meet licensing requirements, obtain a CDA, and learn best practices in the field.
Past conference themes:
- Nature & the Curious Child: the benefits of natural play for children
- Embrace the Mess: building creative, joyful learning experiences with young children
- Be Well Care Well: supporting educators supporting children
- Roots & Wings: culturally responsive early childhood education
- STEAM: curiosity unleashed!
There are plenty of ways to get involved. Every year there are opportunities to sponsor the conference, offer resource tables, donate door prizes, or volunteer. Please reach out to us!
